Rabbi Herman Schaalman, a board member and former president of JCUA, has and continues to serve as a dedicated leader and voice for justice in Chicago and beyond. Rabbi Schaalman led Emanuel Congregation in Chicago for more than 50 years and has been involved in many interfaith and social justice efforts over the years.
